my bio
Experiencing life at it's finest, most furious and/or fucked, has been my mode of operation since 1977.
After buying my first guitar, amp and car, there's been no stopping for sleep.
From my punk rock roots in late 70's Memphis,
to the punk/cowpunk days of early 80's Los Angeles,
to the 90's desert rock scene and New Orleans bars,
to the 2000's in Los Angeles again,
to my current home in Joshua Tree, CA,
I've had the pleasure to tour and/or record with
(lemme name drop here...)
earthlings?, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Masters of Reality, Kyuss, Ween, Gnarltones,
Mark Lanegan, Tex and the Horseheads, Desert Sessions, Goatsnake, Snowballs, Ringling Sisters, Modifiers, Arugula, Mondo Generator and on and on...
I've been fortunate enough to learn from some of my favorite musicians.
Lucky for me, this includes Molly.
I've been playing with Molly for about 10 years now and have loved every minute of it. Her songs give me the freedom to play a dark, mellow style I really have an affinity for.
She is the most talented artist around and I'm damned proud she allows me and my guitar parts to live in her songs.
I'm sincerely happy we get to produce as much music and amusement together as we do.
love
dc
